Jasminum grandiflorum(Jasminum grandiflorum)

Common Name: Jasminum grandiflorum, Royal jasmine, Catalonian jasmine
Plant name: Jasminum grandiflorum
Chemical constituents: oil contains benzyl acetate, linalool, benzyl alcohol,  methyl anthranilate and trace amounts of p. cresol, farnesol, cis-3-hexenyl benzoate, eugenol, nerol, ceosol ,indole,  benzyl benzoate, cis-jasmone, geraniol, benzoic acid, benzaldehyde, y-terpineol and nerolidol, isohytol.

Uses:
– Flowers used for tea.
– Water in which the flowers were macerated the night before used as eyewash.
– Flowers macerated in oil or alcohol extract used for rheumatism.
-used for skin diseases, ulcers of the mouth, and otorrhea.
– leaves are chewed for ulcerations of the mucous membranes of the mouth.
– Flowers used as plaster to the loins and pubes as an aphrodisiac.
